Formal Elements
Formal Elements are features which creates outstanding images in composition.

Line-
In composition lines help to lead you to mystery of the shot at a specific focal point. In the photo you can see lines as the road is leading you somewhere you just don't know it yet

Shape and Form-
It is used to define 3D shapes you would normally use this technique when you are taking images of buildings, sunsets and silhouettes and the reason for this effect is how light falls in the shot

Tone-
Tone is mostly used for Black and White images you use tone to add contrast and feeling and gives a negative effect on the subject of the image in my image i reflect on light and dark as you can see in the image the pole is two different colours as they are two colours they contrast with the sky and clouds very well

Colour-
In my image colour is a bold statement as it attracts the viewer to the red moving car and gives a sense of love and danger as it gives viewers a view of contrast with the women's red hair and her bag
Space-
Space is normally used to create a negative space or a positive space. As you can see my image has a form of negative space as thee car is driving away which gives a negative feeling and makes people question why is the car driving away

Texture-
In this image the manhole is a hard surface with a wave effect texture which gives the viewer an understanding or a feel of the surface. The viewer would already envisage what it would feel like if they were to stand on it based on the patterns being displayed in the image.
